Where's a good spot for a romantic beach getaway in Fort Lauderdale?

Pelican Grand Beach Resort is set up for a slow, romantic stay directly on the Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale. Couples can book an oceanfront room or suite, share a treatment at the rooftop PURE Spa overlooking the water, then have dinner at OCEAN2000, the resort’s oceanfront seafood restaurant, or cocktails at the O2K Lounge. Between meals there is the 500-foot private beach, a zero-entry pool, and Fort Lauderdale’s only lazy river. Packages such as PURE Tranquility pair a room with a signature spa treatment.

What packages and offers are running?

Anticipating Paradise saves up to 25 percent on a fully pre-paid, non-refundable booking and takes 50 percent off the daily resort fee. Fall for the Beach covers stays from 15 September through 30 November 2026 with up to 25 percent off the rate, a $50 daily resort credit, and an upgrade and late checkout based on availability. More Time to Coast gives the fourth night free after three, with a $100 resort credit per stay. Extended Coastal Escape earns $50 of credit on two nights, $75 on three and $100 on five. Florida and Georgia residents get a seasonal rate, a $50 daily credit and early check-in on a valid ID.

Where do we eat, and what are the hours?

OCEAN2000 is the resort’s oceanfront restaurant, with Executive Chef Steve Mendez cooking regionally influenced coastal food built on local produce and fresh seafood, served indoors or on the al fresco veranda. Breakfast runs daily from 7:00 to 11:00 am, lunch Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, dinner daily from 5:00 to 10:00 pm, and brunch on Sunday from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm. Reserve through Resy from the dining page or call 954-556-7667. The O2K Lounge is open daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, with happy hour Monday through Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A 22 percent hospitality charge is added to every check.

How do resort credits work, and what are the booking terms?

Resort credits can be spent on food and beverage, spa, golf and the gift shop. They cannot go toward the room rate or the resort fee, unused credit is not refunded, and it carries no cash value. Blackout dates and minimum stays can apply, offers cannot be combined with each other or with a group booking, and taxes and the resort fee are charged on top of the rate. The primary guest must be 21 or older. Cancel by 3:00 pm Eastern, 72 hours before arrival, or one night’s room and tax is charged. A booking made through a third party has to be changed with that third party.
